Last week I went to Paris for five days. It was absolutely stunning. I once heard Paris is the most known city of the world and I can imagine why. Everywhere around the globe it is the synonym for romance and love. And why wouldn't a city as beautiful be the perfect place to fall in love? There are restaurants everywhere, the people seem to be happy and they sell winebottles in parks (I mean, hello? This is definitely the best thing ever). Even though Paris is not far away for me, I have never been there before and I'm still thrilled I finally managed to go there, thanks to my lovely boyfriend who convinced me to visit Lollapalooza there (more about the festival comming soon!). All in all I had a lovely staycation in Paris, even though I'm currently laying in bed whilst being sick thanks to the fucking not so lovely weather during our trip.
Ich war letzte Woche für fünf Tage in Paris und es war absolut unglaublich. Ich habe mal gehört, dass Paris die weltweit bekannteste Stadt sein soll und ich kann mir vorstellen warum. Überall auf der Welt ist Paris ein Synonym für Romantik und Liebe. Warum sollte eine so wunderschöne Stadt auch nicht der perfekte Ort sein um sich zu verlieben? Überall sind Restaurants, alle Leute sehen glücklich aus und man kann im Park Weinflaschen kaufen (Ich meine, hallo? Beste Idee ever). Obwohl Paris von mir nicht so weit entfernt ist, war ich zum allerersten Mal dort und bin immer noch überglücklich endlich da gewesen zu sein. Der Dank gebührt allerdings meinem wundervollen Freund, der mich überredet hat, zum Lollapalooza zu fahren (mehr zum Festival folgt!). Alles in allem hatten wir einen grandiosen Städtetrip, auch wenn ich wegen des verfickten nicht so guten Wetters in Paris gerade krank im Bett liege.
First day's outfit was simple an airy, because it was still very warm outside and after the stressful travelday I just wanted to pop something casual on. We went for a walk in the afternoon and explored the city to get a first impression. Of course we had to take a photo at the Eiffel Tower and buy a cute little chocolate tarte in one of a thousand Pattisseries. I have to say, my first impression of Paris was great. The city and it's old buildings are just adorable and the lifestyle is right up my street. It is not a chliché, but you can really tell that people focus on quality - in terms of clothes and food especially. Cars are a different story though, as a german girl cars are precious to me and I could not get in my head, how they do not care to scratch them all the time! (I'm such an old lady sometimes haha).
Das Outfit am ersten Tag war simpel und luftig, da es da noch sehr warm war und ich nach der Anreise einfach nur etwas bequemes anziehen wollte. Wir haben den Nachmittag genutzt um einen großen Spaziergang zu machen und ein paar erste Eindrücke zu sammeln. Natürlich musste auch ein Touri-Schnappschuss am Eiffelturm gemacht werden und wir haben uns ein kleines Schokotörtchen in einer der tausenden Pattisserien gekauft. Ich muss sagen, schon der erste Eindruck von Paris war klasse. Die Stadt und die alten Gebäude sind einfach so hinreißend und der Lifestyle gefällt mir sehr. So ein Genießer-Leben, das wäre was für mich. Es ist nicht einfach ein Klischee, sondern man merkt wirklich, dass die Leute viel Wert auf Qualität legen - sowohl bei Kleidung als auch bei Essen. Autos sind allerdings eine andere Geschichte. Als Deutsche sind Autos für mich ein wertvoller Gegenstand und es geht einfach nicht in meinen Kopf, dass es allen egal zu sein scheint, wenn dauernd die Autos angefahren und zerkratzt werden! (Ich bin manchmal echt eine Rentnerin haha).
